  • Do you use bio glitter? 
    Our custom glitter mixes do have a portion of bio glitter. We are yet to find chunky, beautiful glitters that are up to our style standard to be able to include them in our mixes and make them 100% bio.

  • How do you remove the glitter? 
    With a wet wipe to remove majority and then wash face as normal. This also prevents it going down the drain.

  • What do you use to apply the glitter? 
    Strong hair gel that is safe to use on the skin

  • Is the paint waterproof?
    No, our paints are water based so will not last in wet weather circumstances or if skin is prone to sweating a lot but we do our best to protect designs with a setting spray. Under wet conditions we would advise glitter only applications

  • Can you be booked for private events/ corporate events & functions? 
    Yes, of course

  • Can you be booked for private house calls? 
    Absolutely!

  • Do you have a large team? 
    Yes, we can cater to any size booking and multiple events on the one day/night

  • Do you have your own equipment? 
    Yes we do. We have our own 3x3 tent, trestle tables, chairs and all décor as well as our kit of course

  • Do you have public liability insurance? 
    Yes, $20mil.

  • Can you buy your custom blended glitter? 
    Not at this stage.

  • Do you offer regular hair and makeup services also? 
    yes we do - Lianne Claire’s work is here www.lianneclaire.com

  • We have a themed event, can you cater designs for that? 
    Absolutely! We love stepping outside of the box and getting creative!

  • Do you travel interstate or overseas?
    Yes we do, however appropriate travel fees will apply. Please get in touch to discuss.

  • Do you offer body art, or makeup classes?
    We would be able to arrange private lessons for anyone interested in learning skills for makeup, hair and body art, but we do not run regular classes at this stage.

  • How do I get to work with Shimmer Squad? 
    We are always on the lookout for talented artists who want to become a doll or dude. Please forward us your CV and examples of your work. You MUST have skills as a creative artist and not just standard makeup. Hair skills are a bonus too.
